How to create an Instagram audit report.

Follow the account-to-report workflow: collect available public posts, check the evidence and prepare a PDF or editable PowerPoint.

Add the right account

Paste the public professional profile link or its @username. Check the profile and choose the period. Thirty days is the default. Collection starts only when you confirm it.

Start with the summary

Read the findings, then open the posts behind them. The retrieved post count describes the sample; it does not establish exhaustive coverage.

Choose the next experiment

The action plan proposes experiments for review. Keep a specific objective and compare posts of similar age afterwards. AI creative suggestions concern selected images or covers; they do not analyze complete videos.

Download and keep

The PDF is ready to present; the PowerPoint is editable. Private notes are excluded from exports. Download useful reports before they expire: 24 hours for trials, seven days in a free account.

Method and sources

Interactions are known likes and comments. Engagement is average interactions per eligible post divided by followers at collection, multiplied by one hundred. Counters are cumulative at collection. A missing value is not zero. Reach, saves, clicks and growth are not measured.

A PRACTICAL EXAMPLE

Present an Instagram audit with sources and editable slides

Begin with the scope: collection date, available posts and missing data. Choose an observation supported by the displayed sources, then separate it from your interpretation. Finish with a proposed content experiment and the measurement you will collect next. The demonstration report is fictional; its figures illustrate the report structure and are not client results.

  1. Open the fictional example; keep the demonstration label, retrieved dates, sources and sample coverage visible.
  2. Choose one supported observation and separate it from interpretation or a proposed test.
  3. Select Download sample PDF and Download sample PowerPoint. Inspect both saved files; edit text in the PowerPoint when preparing a presentation.
  4. Create an audit with your account only when you want a real report; review the available access and collection limits first.

The public fictional example exported a 14-page PDF and a 14-slide PowerPoint. Text frames in the PowerPoint remain editable. The cover and methodology identify simulated figures; retain that label when sharing a page separately.

Keep the interpretation honest

Demo figures are simulated. Public-only data does not establish reach, saves, private clicks or follower growth. A sample of retrieved posts is not guaranteed to cover the complete account or period.
